Over the years we’ve noticed that people are becoming more and more disconnected from how things work. Our children are losing their fine motor skills from lack of hands-on-creating, and once common household repairs tasks are now the domain of professionals. Maker Workshop aims to change this. We want our kids to realise their creative potential. We want people to question if a broken object can be reused, recycled or repurposed. We want to create a nation of Makers; Questioners of consumerism; Embracers of failure and experimentation.
